Sun's Story

My foster writes: Sun is a soft and affectionate little guy who took a bit of time to come out of his shell. He was separated from his mom and grandma early on, so he started off pretty unsure of everything, but after some patience and time Sun showed his loving personality. Now he's really into the quiet, cozy life. He likes wand toys, but he's even more into curling up on a lap and just being near you. He's the kind of cat who keeps you company without asking for much, and shows his affection in a steady and gentle way.

A volunteer writes:
SUM is a 6-year-old neutered gentleman who arrived at the Manhattan Care Center alongside his companions Shadow and Mamacat when their owner was displaced. Though initially shy with strangers, SUM quickly warms up and reveals his truly affectionate nature-he adores cuddles, lap time, and being carried in loving arms. Sum was at first shy with me, hesitating to leave his den but when he did after my coaxing, he really was a very sweet and loving kitty. This sweet boy is friendly and playful with other cats, making him a wonderful companion. While SUM may have a heart murmur, cardiac testing (proBNP) shows his heart is functioning well. With his gentle disposition and capacity for love, SUM is ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever family. Ask to meet him when you visit us at the care center!

What my friends at ACC say about me:
I have lived with cats in my previous home.
I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.
I am looking for a home with a patient person.
I'm sensitive and shy.
