Sun Bear's Story

DOB 8/26/2025

Sun Bear (shelter name Xuan) and his litter were brought to Austin Animal Center when they were a few days old, where he and his brother Moon Bear were split into several different foster homes to be bottle raised.

This funny boy is perfect in every way and he has never given his foster family a moment of trouble. He is smart and adventurous, and boy is he a talker. He always has something to say and when you come into the room he comes up to your feet and meows up at you until you pick him up. Then it's just loud purring.

He enjoys toys, interactions with other cats and is very tidy with his litter box. He would probably enjoy having another friendly cat to play with because he's not a loner.

We are looking for a 100% indoor home only. Adoption will be through Austin Pets Alive. This includes vaccinations and neuter surgery at a later date. He is microchipped, vaccinated and tested negative for Feline Leukemia.

If you are interested in meeting Sun Bear, please email his foster at baharriso1@gmail.com.
