Summer

We'd like to start off Summer the same way we start off so many other seasons...by introducing a new cat! And since we are right at the dawn of Summer, please welcome SUMMER to the Club!<br/><br/>We've known about Summer for a few weeks now, but we weren't sure if she was going to end up coming to us or not. When she was first taken in by a friend of ours, she was nursing her 6 newborn babies! As soon as she was finished nursing, she was finished being a Mom, and these 6 kittens were getting on her nerves! <br/><br/>We got the call, and we agreed to take in the 6 babies, because taking them first would open up more space in our friends house. We haven't announced them on Petfinder yet because they are not old enough to be adopted (but they are all over our social media pages!). <br/><br/>Our friend only knew Summer as a Mommy Cat, so seeing her revert back into a snuggly, funny, peaceful, needy kitty was a real treat for her to experience. Summer did a wonderful job as a mother, but now she is fixed, so this one-time Mama is ready to hang that title from the rafters, and continue on as someone's baby in her own right.<br/><br/>Summer is very friendly, and loves the pets and attentions she can get from humans, just for being cute and affectionate. She excitedly greets you when you come home from work, and will follow you around patiently until its her turn to get cuddles from you. She has a loud, content purr.<br/><br/>Summer is more on the lazy side. She has her zoomies like any other cat, but is happy to find a nice spot where the sun shines in and claim it as her own. She recently discovered television, and would love to find a favorite show to binge watch with you while you lounge around on the couch.<br/><br/>Summer is good with friendly cats and kids, too! She hasn't spent a whole lot of time around dogs, and the ones she has been around, she didn't seem to be bothered by or pay much attention to.
