Sully's Story
Sully
3 months, 3lbs
Rescued in the southwest

Meet Sully! At just 3 months old and 3 pounds, this tiny adventurer is friendly, energetic, and endlessly curious, the kind of kitten who sized up a brand new space and made himself at home almost immediately. He's a people lover who greets new faces with playfulness rather than nerves, follows his foster around the apartment like a tiny shadow, and is very vocal about his feelings and needs — he will absolutely let you know. His favorite activities include chasing a ribbon, batting at his spring toys, terrorizing his toy mouse, and scratching his cat tree post, but his absolute most beloved pastime is holding hands. Yes, really — he reaches out his little paws while sleeping because he wants his hand held, which is almost too much to handle.

Sully is litter trained and does well when left alone, settling into an independent, sleepy rhythm during the day before ramping back up for evening playtime and cuddles. He's still working on "No" (he sort of gets it) and, as a kitten, has a fondness for chewing on things he probably shouldn't — so patience and plenty of toys to redirect that energy will go a long way. He's sensitive to noise, so a moderate, calm-ish household suits him best, and he'd thrive in an apartment with someone who has time in the mornings and evenings to give him the love and play he genuinely needs. His ideal adopter is playful and patient, ready to grow alongside him — because Sully is the kind of cat who gives a lot, and he deserves someone who gives it right back.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Sully, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
