Sully's Story

Meet Sully!

Sully has been with us for a little while, and watching him blossom has been our favorite. When he first arrived, he was quiet, reserved, and unsure of the world around him. Now? Sully has discovered that people aren't so bad after all! He's become a friendly, social boy who enjoys attention, seeks out gentle pets, and has shown us just how sweet he really is.

While Sully still isn't the biggest fan of being picked up, he's more than happy to stop by for head scratches, hang out nearby, and keep you company. He's the perfect mix of independent and affectionate, enjoying your company without demanding to be the center of attention.

Because of his easygoing nature, we think Sully could thrive in several different types of homes. He'd make a wonderful indoor companion for someone looking for a laid-back friend, but we also think he'd excel as an indoor/outdoor cat or even as a social barn or garage cat where he could enjoy having a safe place to call home while still getting to explore and interact with his people.

Sully has come so far during his time at the shelter, and now all that's missing is a family to give him the happy ending he deserves. Whether he's greeting you in the garage, soaking up the sunshine outside, or stopping by for a few well-earned head scratches, Sully is ready to become someone's loyal companion.

After waiting patiently for his forever home, we think it's finally Sully's turn. Come meet this handsome boy and see just how far he's come!

Cheyenne Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
As Wyoming’s largest animal adoption agency, CAS has the widest selections of cats and dogs, rabbits, small mammals and more in Wyoming. Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
