Sulli's Story

Meet Sulli! Sullivan Street Pit, better known as Sulli, was found wandering around a construction pit in Grays Ferry all by herself at only 2.5 months old. Sulli was incredibly affectionate from the second she was picked up and started purring and nuzzling her finder immediately. Our awesome foster Claire took her in and now she's all grown up and ready for her forever home! From her foster: "She is independent and playful. She loves to window watch, to lounge and mostly to play - both with her foster dog brother and with her toys. She can easily entertain herself. Sulli will curl up on the couch next to you - she prefers to be within eye sight of you. She is intelligent and great with the litterbox. She is friendly with others but not clingy. She has lived with kids and dogs and is good with both. She is brave. She loves a hair tie and is always ready to play." Sulli would do best with a cat friend so she can play and get out some of her energy! We are so happy this lovely girl is safe with Fishtails and can't wait for her to find her forever family! Fishtails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions.
