Stubby Sue's Story

Meet Stubby Sue! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค

Stubby Sue is a petite, beautiful tuxedo bobtail with the softest fur, adorable little white socks, and whiskers that seem to go on forever. At around 10 months old, she's the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and absolutely lovable.

One of Stubby Sue's cutest quirks is her signature "butt lift"--scratch her lower back, and she'll happily raise her little backside in pure delight! She loves chasing feather wands and laser toys, never says no to a serving of wet food, and absolutely adores being petted.

Stubby Sue gets along well with other cats, is perfectly litter box trained, fully vetted, and ready to become someone's cherished companion.

Stubby Sue's journey to our rescue wasn't an easy one. She was mistakenly trapped through a community TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, which is why she has the small notch in her ear. Although she was clearly a friendly, social cat who belonged in a home, she found herself back outside until kind-hearted neighbors recognized she needed help and reached out to our rescue.

Today, Stubby Sue is safe, warm, and surrounded by people who love her. Miami Animal Alliance Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Miami Animal Alliance Adoption Information At Miami Animal Alliance, we rescue cats and dogs from the streets of Miami, Oklahoma, as well as local shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. Every animal is given the chance to receive medical care, love, and a safe place to heal while they wait for their forever family. Our pets are raised in loving foster homes whenever possible, where they become accustomed to everyday household life, people, and often children and other pets. We believe this gives them the best start for a successful adoption. Before adoption, every animal is: * Spayed or neutered * Tested for FIV/FeLV (cats) * Age-appropriate on vaccinations * Dewormed * Microchipped * Examined by a veterinarian and given any necessary medical care To adopt, simply complete an adoption application on our website at https://miamianimalalliance.org. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will review it and contact you to answer questions and help determine if itโ€™s the right match for both you and your new family member. For our Colorado adopters, we transport pets to the Denver metro area on scheduled transports throughout the year, making it possible for Oklahoma rescue pets to find wonderful homes in Colorado. If you have any questions, weโ€™d love to hear from you. Please email us at maacoloradochapter@gmail.com. Thank you for considering adoption and for giving a rescue pet a second chance at a happy life.
