Stripes (with Patches)'s Story
DOB 8/20/25
Hello. I am Stripes and am bonded with my sister Patches. I am a little bit of a distance kitty. I do not like to admit I like pets so only let you do it when I am not looking at you and I do not snuggle but will sit near you after I have known you for a little bit. I like to observe what is going on and love watching from a perch. I love playing with my siblings but do hiss to let them know when I want to play by myself. I need a home that respects my boundaries.

PLEASE READ

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.

Adoption Requirements

To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
• A completed adoption application
• A home visit

Apply here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat

Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs
