What is St. Tammany Animal Resource Team’s adoption process?

Our adoption fee of $70.00 covers the cost of spaying, neutering and immunizations.  An adoption application is required, and can be accessed electronically at www.startfosters.com.  Or you can email us at startcares@hotmail.com and we will email you an application you can print and mail, or bring to the Covington PetSmart on saturday, noon to 4 p.m., where we also have adoptable animals to see.

Is Stripes good with kids?

Stripes is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Stripes good with other animals?

Stripes is good with other cats and dogs.

When can I meet Stripes?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Stripes?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
