Stripes's Story

Meet Stripes!

Stripes is a beautiful 12-week-old brown tabby and quite possibly one of the sweetest little kittens you’ll meet. He has the most adorable way of showing you he’s happy: he’ll walk over, plop himself down in front of you and start purring.

He loves affection, belly rubs and cuddling, and he genuinely seems to enjoy just being close to his people. He is playful and loves being a kitten, but he also has a wonderful calm side. He’s a really nice balance of playful and cuddly and is usually quite happy to settle in for some love after playtime.

Stripes is very close with his brother, Smokes. They play together, keep each other company and have grown up side by side. They would make a lovely pair for someone hoping to adopt two kittens, although Stripes can also be considered separately for the right home.

Health Note: Stripes has been exposed to feline herpesvirus (FHV-1), a common virus in cats. He is vaccinated and currently doing very well. Because of this, his ideal home would be with Smokes as the only two cats. A home with other cats can also be considered, but any resident cats should be healthy and up to date on their FVRCP vaccination. Stripes currently receives simple immune-supportive care, including probiotics and lysine. His adopter should be comfortable continuing to keep an eye on his health and discussing any future needs with their veterinarian.

Stripes is an incredibly sweet little guy with a gentle personality and a lot of love to give. If you want a kitten who will play with you and then happily flop down for a cuddle, he may be your perfect match.

Contact us info@WeRescueCats.ca
