He hasn't learned to accept touch yet and is still very skittish, so he'll need a patient adopter who can give him the time and understanding he deserves. While people are still a little scary to him, Stout truly enjoys the company of other cats. He finds comfort in their presence and would love a home where he can continue to feel safe and secure. Because Stout is FeLV-positive, he will need to either be the only cat in the home or live with other FeLV-positive companions. With a calm, quiet environment, Stout will thrive as a gentle, low-maintenance companion who simply asks for a safe place to belong.
