Stewart's Story
Stewart’s story is one that tugs at the heart, but if you ask him, he’d much rather spend his time asking for snacks and head scratches than dwelling on the past. This big, lovable boy came to Whiskers after his owner sadly passed away at just 48 years old. Stewart and his six siblings, all from the same litter, suddenly found themselves needing a fresh start. While his siblings were able to settle into foster homes, Stewart made the shelter his temporary home and has been winning hearts ever since.

Previously referred to as a “therapy cat,” Stewart has a gift for comforting everyone he meets. He adores people, loves other cats, and would truly thrive in a home where he can have feline companionship again. His gentle, affectionate personality shines through in everything he does, whether he’s softly chatting for attention, reminding you it’s dinner time, or simply soaking up love from anyone nearby.

Stewart is wonderfully food motivated and never shy about voicing his opinions when treats or pets are involved. Volunteers lovingly call him a “sweet baby,” a “delight,” and countless other glowing names that fit him perfectly. Despite all the changes he’s endured, Stewart has remained resilient, loving, and endlessly kind.

This handsome boy does have kidney disease and will need prescription food to help keep him feeling his best, but Stewart doesn’t let that slow down his ability to love with his whole heart. Beneath his big frame and chatty personality is truly a hidden gem just waiting for someone to see how special he is.

Stewart has spent enough time taking care of everyone else’s hearts. Now it’s his turn to have someone care for his. 🧡

Approx DOB: 03/01/2015

==> Please do not email
==> Please do not click on "Ask About"
==> If you are interested in adopting or have questions, please apply at www.ewhiskers.com/apply

Whiskers cats and kittens are ALL rescued from the surrounding CAPITAL DISTRICT.
