Stevie's Story

Stevie is a gorgeous green-eyed girl with velvety soft fur, dainty little toes, and the sweetest quiet presence. She’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home — greeting you at the door, following you from room to room, and always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Stevie is friendly, curious, brave, and wonderfully independent. She’ll happily keep you company while you make coffee in the morning or cook dinner at night, chatting away in her adorable little voice. She loves being near her people and will curl up beside you on the couch, requesting head, chin, and cheek scratches. When she’s especially relaxed, she even makes the cutest tiny snoring noises.

She’s happiest with someone experienced with cats who understands feline body language and respects her boundaries. Stevie can become overstimulated with too much petting and will gently let you know when she’s had enough, but she still wants to stay close and involved in the action. Her personality is full of charm, sass, and sweetness.

Stevie enjoys bird watching from the window, lounging near her favorite scratching pad, and getting excited for treats and Churu snacks. She would do best as the only pet in a calm, quiet home without children, where she can truly relax and thrive. Loud noises and chaos can make her nervous, but underneath it all is a deeply loving companion ?.

Though Stevie has been rehomed several times through no fault of her own, she has never stopped being a loving, loyal companion. Early on, she struggled living with a dog and later found herself bounced between homes before ending up at the city shelter.? Through it all, Stevie has remained a sweet, loving, and loyal companion

After everything she’s been through, Stevie deserves the kind of forever home that finally sticks?. A calm, loving place where she can feel safe for the rest of her life. Whoever adopts her will be incredibly lucky. She was born around 9/10/18.

For more pics and videos of Stevie please go to: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCSxUb

For more information on Stevie please email Adopt@anjelliclecats.com

Anjellicle Cats Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is as follows. We have all interested adopters complete an application which can be found on our website www.anjelliclecats.com. Please note some foster caregivers are comfortable introducing you to their cat via FaceTime or similar platform. Others still prefer a hand-to-paw meeting. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a seminar in cat care that lasts about 75 minutes. We invite both experienced and novice alike and are presently offering this as a Zoom session. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows and a generally safe environment for a cat. Then we coordinate pick up by the adopter or drop off by the foster, depending on what both parties are comfortable doing. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, and $75 for one cat 7 years and older. This fee includes initial shots, microchipping, deworming, and spay/neuter.
