Steven Butler's Story

Meet Steven Butler -- He's a Working Man!

Are you looking for a dedicated employee to help keep your barn, workshop, garage, or outbuilding rodent-free? Steven Butler is currently accepting applications for the position of Barn Cat Extraordinaire
.
Steven dreams of a home with plenty of room to patrol and mice to hunt. He takes his job seriously and plans to earn his keep the old-fashioned way. In return, all he asks for is food, fresh water, a safe place to call home, and the occasional treat.

Steven is an independent gentleman. He doesn't mind other cats, and while dogs aren't really his thing, he's willing to coexist as long as they respect his personal space. Don't expect a lap cat, Steven's ideal relationship involves you admiring him from afar while he goes about his important business. Head scratches every now and then is acceptable, but only on his terms.

Like many working cats, Steven will need time to settle into a new environment. The move may be stressful, and he might have a few opinions about it at first. Once he's comfortable, he'll get to work keeping your property rodent-free and may even acknowledge your existence from time to time.

If you have a barn, stable, workshop, or similar space that could use a hardworking mouser, Steven Butler may be the perfect employee for the job.
Interested in giving this hardworking guy a home?

Contact the shelter today at AVASCares2@gmail.com or by phone at 989-348-4117 to learn more!
