Steve is a very sweet boy with a gentle heart and so much love waiting to blossom. He absolutely loves meeting new people, coming up to say hello, and soaking up all the pets he can get. <br/><br/>After a rough start, Steve has needed a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable, but he's slowly learning that the world can be a pretty wonderful place.<br/><br/>Steve can be a bit timid, and he isn't always the best at asking for affection-but make no mistake, he wants those cuddles! Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys being held and snuggled. He's a quiet little sweetheart who just needs someone patient enough to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.<br/><br/>When it's time to play, Steve has one favorite: the wand toy! Other toys? He can take them or leave them. But give him a wand and he's ready for some fun.<br/><br/>Steve has already come so far, and we know there is so much more of his sweet personality waiting to emerge. He's looking for a loving home that will give him the patience he deserves, the cuddles he secretly craves, and the reassurance that he is finally safe.<br/><br/>Steve has tested positive for FeLV and therefore requires specific care. This is not contagious to humans but can be passed to other cats.
