No one to tell us where he had been or what he had been through.<br/><br/>Just a quiet, gentle soul looking at us like he was hoping—maybe for the first time in a long time—that life was about to get better.<br/><br/>And it did.<br/><br/>We named him Sterling, guessed him to be around 6 years old, and made sure he got everything he needed to start over. A clean bill of health, a full belly, and a safe place to rest.<br/><br/>But the most beautiful thing about Sterling isnt the fresh start we gave him.<br/><br/>Its the way he still loves.<br/><br/>Despite whatever life may have looked like before us, Sterling has held onto his kindness. He has a heart so big it shows in everything he does. He makes friends easily with the other cats, accepts our volunteer pup Millie without a fuss, and asks for so little in return.<br/><br/>Love. Kindness. Friendship.<br/><br/>Thats all Sterling wants.<br/><br/>And after arriving with nothing, wed love for him to leave here with everything.<br/><br/>A home. A family.
