<br/><br/>GETTING TO KNOW ME
<br/>Hey, you! Yeah, you! Wanna an adventure buddy who will join you on leash walks or ride in a cat backpack? Sterling is your girl! She’s very self confident but not pushy and an all-around fabulous girl. After a day filled with fun and adventure she’d love nothing more than to get comfy with a person and settle in for a snooze. Her favorite things in order are PEOPLE, people, people, watching nature, toys and food. Sterling is an utter joy to share your life with. Oh, and did we mention her glorious soft, kinky fur and whiskers? You won’t be able to get enough of petting her!

<br/><br/>IDEAL HOME<br/>Sterling needs a home where her people are home more than gone and she gets to join in on all the excitement. She will make her own fun if she’s left to amuse herself, think running with rolls of toilet paper and shredding them. You might need to guard your plate when eating because sometimes she’s a bit too curious and would like to share. Sterling is great with people, respectful kids, cats and dogs. She is an all-around great girl with so much to offer. She wants a bed and pillow to share with a person and the closer the better.<br/><br/>IMPORTANT<br/>FIP CURED-This incredible girl has completed FIP protocol and is CURED! Please educate yourself at https://www.fipglobalcats.com/ and ensure your vet is FIP-knowledgeable. We're happy to answer questions!

<br/><br/>TRAINING
<br/>Positive reinforcement only. Aversive techniques damage the human cat relationship. Positive reinforcement training with cats is a useful tool for improving the human-animal bond, modifying unwanted behavior, and teaching novel tasks.

<br/><br/>CARE REQUIREMENTS
<br/>*Food & Water: Honest Kitchen dehydrated food or any pate and a ceramic or stainless steel water fountain is a big plus.
<br/>*Litter: open-style box with unscented clumping litter (one box per cat, plus one extra) currently using PetSmart Grass Seed Litter.
<br/>*Grooming: She sheds a lot so the more you comb or slicker the better and a monthly nail trim.

<br/><br/>TRANSITION TIPS
<br/>Sterling needs to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new family. <br/> <br/>VETTING PROVIDED
<br/>Exam, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, CBC/Chemistry bloodwork, completed parasite protocol, completed FIP protocol, and is microchipped. Medical Records are supplied at adoption completion.

<br/><br/>LOCATION AND ADOPTION
Fostered in Valparaiso, Indiana (45 min from Chicago and SW Michigan, 2 hours from Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio).
