Meet Stella, an adorable mitted tabby whose pretty eyes light up any room. Stella is only about 7 months old, but comes from a previous home in which she was often scared, nervous around others. Due to her nature to be somewhat sheltered, Stella likely didn't receive proper socialization during those first few, critical weeks of their lives. As a result, this beautiful girl can be a bit hesitant around others and has tendencies suggesting she may take time to adjust to her new home while she gets over her angst of a new life. Additionally, Stella is quite independent, despite also enjoying some human time when the mood strikes her. She is not the biggest fan of being pet at all times, but may curl up on your lap for a nap once she gets to know you. She is also very chatty, always having something to say, and she does get bouts of playfulness often, and is very good at self-entertaining as well - she is still a kitten underneath after all!<br/>All of this is to say Stella is not necessarily your average kitty; she is not a fan of being the center of attention. She may be the type to spend a lot of her time simply observing, watching as the birds fly by or checking out the neighbors activities.
