STELLA's Story
Pretty STELLA is a petite Grey and white lady. She was brought in as a stray, so no information about her preferences towards cats, dogs, or children are known. However, she hasn't vocalized any objections to the shelter cats so far. She has been very shy during her initial stay, but seemed interested, however was too nervous to interact much.

Each day, STELLA seems a little braver and comes out a little further from the kennel. When it's quiet, she has enjoyed being petted and having her neck scratched. But she needs her interactions to be gentle and voices soft, or she retreats. Until she regains trust, we won't know how she feels about children or dogs. Her nervous disposition, at the moment, says she would be best in a home with older children who understand her shyness and do not expect her to be a playmate. She also would not react well with aggressive or active dogs. She is not a fan of chaos.

We are seeing baby steps with STELLA's trust and comfort level. She had been spayed, so she had a loving home at some point in her life. Unfortunately, she was not chipped, so we couldn't give her a happy reunion with her family. Stella did not look as though she had been on her own for too long, but apparently long enough to have made her fearful of everything.

How this pretty kitty ended up here is a mystery, but she deserves a happy ending in a loving home that will care for her forever!

DOB-05/2021 Entered Shelter-05/2026

If you would like to adopt STELLA, please visit the shelter during Adoption Hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm.
