Stella's Story

Meet Stella! She's a 4-5 year old Domestic Short Hair that was brought to SCAC after being abandoned when her family moved away. This pretty girl is very sweet and adventurous. She enjoys catnip, sitting in an open window, and relaxing in her bed. It is very important to Stella to have a home where she can go in and out to enjoy the fresh air. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
