He loves attention and will confidently trot right up to you for pets, purring like a tiny engine the moment you touch him. He stares longingly into your eyes, clearly soulmate material. Playtime is his absolute favorite, especially if it involves toys he can chase or climb. He’s also a cuddle bug at heart and happily climbs into your lap or even perches on your shoulder to be close. Starsky would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, curious kitty and doesn't mind a little shadow following them around. His ideal day includes play, snuggles, and being your brave, outgoing sidekick.<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Mid City, Los Angeles. We can transport to approved adopter in LA county and some parts of OC. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. We currently TNR roughly 24 cats/month.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
