Star's Story

Meet Star

Star's story hasn't been the easiest, but you'd never know it from the way she loves people. Through everything life has thrown her way, this beautiful mama cat has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of affection. She's the kind of cat who seems genuinely grateful for every soft bed, kind word, and gentle pet - and now she's ready for the part of her story where she finally gets to be cared for.

After spending her time raising babies and overcoming challenges, Star is more than ready to retire from mom duty and focus on the important things in life: cozy naps, loving humans, and soaking up all the attention she deserves.
Star may have been through a lot, but she hasn't let it dim her light one bit. She's still shining brightly and waiting for a forever family who will give her the safe, happy ending she's earned.

Important Health Information:
Shortly after arrival to our shelter, Star developed diarrhea and was diagnosed with feline panleukopenia. She has since been treated, is considered low risk, has shown no signs of illness after completing a 14-day treatment and isolation period, and has received appropriate vaccines. After adoption, we recommend notifying your veterinarian, monitoring her for approximately 14 days, and keeping her separated from kittens from other litters and unvaccinated cats during that time.
