Stanley's Story

Stanley is a distiguished 5 year old gentleman, outfitted with a stunning orange tabby coat drapped like a cloak from head to tail over his pillowy soft white unders. His orange moustache, nose freckles and glowing green eyes seal the deal for his handsome fella to steal any heart he desires.

Stanley is always eager to great his humans with a stretched out paw and froggy meow asking for love and affection, offering the rewards of his vibrating purrs and drooling derp faces in return. In his alone time he most enjoys watching the outdoors in the catio, sunny window naps, climbing the cat wall and zooming from one to the other with the coordinated hop run of a baby deer. A skimper scamper if you will.

Showing his refined tastes with an instant love for dogs and humans (especially little girls offering crowns, kisses, and little hands for holding) he has also shown his distaste for overly friendly kitties and would be best suited to live with another aloof and respectful middle aged cat or as a solo cat with a canine bestie. Since coming to AHS Stanley has really blossomed on Prozac, so we encourage adopters to continue this medication for him. It's an inexpensive, easily obtainable medication ($15/month).

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Adult cats have an adoption fee of $150. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
