Stacy's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

If youre looking for a one-and-only kind of love, Stacy might just be your girl. Shes five years old and big, bold, and beautiful! Stacy is incredibly friendly, sweet, cuddly and affectionate and theres a lot of her to love! Shell follow you around the house like everywhere - rubbing up against you and asking for pets like its her full-time job. Shes also quite playful - wand toys, laser pointers, and catnip toys (heavy on the nip!) are her absolute favourites. Stacy is a big fan of cat TV, especially the bird and squirrel channels. When its time to recharge, youll usually find her curled up on a cozy blanket or stretched out on the couch. At night, once shes settled in, she will sleep on your bed every night. Shes not quite a lap cat yet - which, honestly, might save your wardrobe from a little extra fur! This girl loves her food - Fancy Feast is always a hit (just no beef, and no fish due to a suspected allergy). She also enjoys her Churu and Temptations treats, but shes currently on a weight-loss journey, so snacks should be kept to a minimum. Her new home will need to help her stay on track with both diet and exercise so she can feel and look her best. Stacy hasnt been around other animals that we know of, so shell do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the attention.

She came into care after her owner sadly passed away, and with no one to take her in, she found herself starting over. Its no surprise she was a bit shy and grumpy at first, but shes since blossomed into the loving, gentle companion she truly is - and now shes ready to find her forever home at last.

Stacy would thrive in a home thats patient while she settles in, committed to her health goals, and happy to give her all the love, playtime, and affection she could ever want.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contaIct applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
