Squiggy's Story

Squiggy is an energetic, cute, sweet kitten who came to Fancy Cats within days of his October birth from a crowded shelter. His mom is Tolkein and his siblings are Shirley, Laverne and Lenny.

Squiggy was the ‘runt’ of his litter but he has now caught up in size and confidence. Squiggy loves attention from his humans. If he thinks he’s being ignored, he will attempt to climb up his foster’s pant leg (and is usually successful). Squiggy is usually the first kitten to initiate a play session with his siblings. He has enjoyed taking a few naps in his foster’s lap and has all the signs of a future lap cat. Squiggy is very interested in toys and shiny objects.

Squiggy is healthy, uses his litter box faithfully and is learning to use his scratching post.....however, he is still a baby and will need oversight and reinforcement to keep these good house manners. Squiggy has met his foster home’s resident dog and cat – he was very curious and ran right up to the resident cat to say hi. He would likely do fine in a home with other pets as long as an appropriate introduction protocol is followed. Squiggy loves food and is always ready for mealtime. He has a brown and white tabby short haired coat that should be easy to care for as he grows.

Please note it is Fancy Cats' policy that kittens have an age-appropriate playmate in the home. We also do not adopt kittens to families with children under six years old without seeing appropriate history/experience with cats.

Adoption fee: $250, includes 1
st
FVRCP, deworming, deflea, microchip
