Meet Squeakie, a delightful 11-month-old boy who has grown into a social, playful, and affectionate companion! Gone are his shy hiding days--Squeakie now actively seeks out human attention and loves being right where the action is, happily soaking up pets and love from his favorite people. To help him stay happy and engaged, Squeakie needs to go to a home with another cat--whether that's adopting a buddy from our shelter alongside him or pairing him with a social, friendly resident cat already in his forever home. He thrives on feline companionship and loves having a partner in crime for play and lounging. Because Squeakie has gained so much confidence, his ideal home should offer a supportive routine that celebrates his outgoing nature. Any children in the home should be at least 8 years of age and understand how to be gentle with him. He may also be okay with a cat-friendly dog as long as they have a slow introduction. Squeakie recently had a dental cleaning while in our care, and our vet recommends he receives a follow-up dental checkup in January. We are looking for an adopter who will commit to bringing him to their primary vet in January for an exam to get their professional opinion on his dental care moving forward.
