Spyro's Story

Say hello to Spyro, the charming tabby with a heart full of love and a personality to match! This sweet boy was transferred to ARF from an overcrowded shelter in mid-April and now he's ready to find the perfect family to call his own. Spyro is friendly, playful and has an affectionate side that will steal your heart.

Spyro might just be the next tabby to make a name for himself, but he's certainly not the first. Tabby cats are a beloved and iconic breed in pop culture! From the playful Garfield to the mysterious cat sidekicks in movies, tabbies have captured the hearts of many with their unique, often mischievous personalities. These cats are known for being affectionate, outgoing and sociable, which makes them perfect companions for all kinds of families. Spyro, like many tabbies, fits that description to a T. He's friendly, loves attention and is always up for a bit of fun.

Why Do We Love Tabbies So Much?
* Playful & Energetic: Tabbies are known for their curiosity and zest for life and Spyro is no exception. Whether it's chasing after toys or simply hanging out with you, he'll always keep you entertained.
* Affectionate & Loyal: Tabbies are natural people-lovers and Spyro is no different. He'll happily curl up next to you and snuggle after a good play session.
* Intelligent & Adaptable: Tabby cats are sharp and can quickly adjust to new environments. Spyro is already showing how well he's settled in with the ARF team and he's eager to find his forever home where he'll feel safe and loved.

The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
