Sprout and Muffin Domestic Medium Hair Evanston, IL

Meet Spout (black and white) and Muffin (white) a 12-week old sister pair.

Sprout, looks like an old man, with her frazzled constant bed head look and her cute little white mustache. She is a goofster and does her sideways spider walk when she is in a playful mood. She can usually be found away from the rest of her siblings scooting under furniture and jumping around. Muffin is fluffy and just a tad bit plump and absolutely loves toys. When she claims a toy it's hers and she will walk around with it in her mouth for hours, growling when her siblings try to steal it from her.

Sprout and Muffin are well adjusted, easy-going kittens who do well with cats, dogs, and children.

These two are part of Mitten's litter. We fondly refer to them all as mittens. We rescued Mittens and her ten kittens from one of our animal control partners in Southern IL. Mittens went into labor just three days before she was scheduled to be transported to us and gave birth to six tiny kittens. That same day a litter of four orphaned kittens were brought into the shelter without a mother. Their only hope was to be adopted by Mama mittens. She accepted them as her own and has been a wonderful mother. Unfortunately, three of the tiniest kittens did not make it despite our efforts to save them. The seven remaining kittens: Gnochi, Muffin, Chickpea, Jam, Avacado, Tootsie and Sprout have grown up to be playful, affectionate kittens thanks to our foster families love and of course Mitten's watchful eye. They are now ready to find families of their own.
