Spooky's Story

Spooky was once true to his name—nervous, elusive, and unsure of humans. But now? He’s starting to warm up in the most heart-melting ways. At feeding time, he’s right there with eager eyes. He’s begun to enjoy gentle pets, and recently, he’s been gifting us with quiet little purrs of gratitude.<br/><br/>Spooky is still on his journey, but he’s come so far. He’s a wonderful match for someone who believes in second chances and has a soft spot for the under-cats. With time and love, Spooky will be the sweetest companion.<br/><br/>Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. All God's Creatures Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet. Adopters can meet our cats Tuesday through Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. While we currently don't have dogs in the building, we do have dogs in foster care. If you're interested in meeting one of them, please contact us to arrange a time with their foster family.
