Spoink's Story

Spoink, named after the Pokémon due to the mole on her forehead, is a sweet, sassy, and independent young lady.
This tiny girl may be the runt of her litter, but don’t let her size fool you, her personality is larger than life. Spoink is very playful, loving to chase after her sister (Umby,) nibble wiggly toes, and burrow under the blankets for hide and seek. Spoink loves to climb so a kitty tower is a *must* for her.
Spoink also does well with human affection, though she’s happiest with it on her own time. She’s comfortable being picked up and held like a baby, even spreading her legs out as she relaxes. When she wants to relax with her people, she will sit beside them and knead the blanket, occasionally suckling on it.
This spirited girl would do fine as a solo cat but would love to be with another active cat to play with. She currently shares space with dogs and senior cats, doing well with both as long as they’re patient and understanding of her playfulness. She has done fine with the kids she has met so far.
Spoink does get itchy and waxy ears, which makes her scratch them. This sometimes causes balding. She will need her ears wiped clean and inexpensive ear-drops put in once or twice a week to help ease the itchiness.
Spoink is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home.
