Spirit and Salem's Story
Meet Salem and Spirit, two inseparable kittens whose beginnings were rough—but whose hearts are nothing but pure love. These boys have survived storms, engines, and the dangers of the outdoors, and through it all, they found each other. Now, they’re ready to find a forever home together.

Salem appeared at the doorstep on a stormy, rainy day—soaking wet, crying, and clearly hungry. He was far too friendly to be feral, with no microchip and no siblings, and it was obvious he had been dumped. Once brought inside, he instantly revealed his sweet, mellow, affectionate nature, happily cuddling, following his rescuer around, and enjoying window perches, wand toys, and even watching cat games on YouTube.

Spirit’s story is just as remarkable. He was discovered stuck inside a car engine after being unknowingly driven home by a neighbor. Thankfully, he survived the ride without injury and was found crying and climbing out onto the car wheel, hungry and scared. With nearby dogs and feral cats posing a danger, he was rescued just in time and quickly bonded with Salem. Though shy at first, Spirit warms up into a loving, affectionate boy who enjoys laying on your chest, bird-watching from a window, energetic play sessions, wand toys, and cat TV.

Both boys adore watching birds from a screened porch or window perch, so a home with plenty of window access or even a catio would make them very happy. They LOVE Delectables lickable treats. They do wonderfully with other cats but are not suitable for a home with dogs.

Together, Salem and Spirit balance each other beautifully—Salem with his mellow sweetness and Spirit with his playful energy. They are deeply bonded, incredibly loving, and ready for a peaceful, safe forever home where they can stay together and finally leave their difficult pasts behind.

Adopt A Cat Foundation
3110 45th St.E
West Palm Beach, FL 33407

Hours: Monday and Wednesday from 1 pm to 5 pm and every Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Please be sure to bring with you a safe hard-sided pet carrier!
