Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and hope to homeless, abandoned, ill, and injured cats and kittens who have nowhere else to turn. Together with our dedicated foster-care guardians, we provide refuge for over 200 cats every single day. We believe every cat deserves a chance — especially the ones often overlooked. We take in the cats that no one else wants: the sick, the injured, the frightened, the abandoned, and the forgotten. Through medical care, rehabilitation, patience, and love, we work tirelessly to give each cat the opportunity for a safer, healthier, and happier life. Our mission is not only to rescue, but to advocate, heal, and find loving forever homes for cats in need while educating our community about compassion and responsible animal care.

Adoption Policy

When you arrive at our shelter, one of our volunteers will introduce you to our cats and help you find the perfect companion. Once you meet a cat you are interested in adopting, the volunteer will have you complete our adoption application, and the interview process will begin. If we feel the adoption is a good match for both you — and most importantly, the cat — the adoption will be approved, and your new family member may be able to go home with you the very same day. Our goal is always to ensure the best possible match for both the cat and the adopter. Applications are only declined if we feel the cat’s best interests, safety, and long-term well-being may not be fully met.
