UPDATE;
Special Delivery had gotten so pretty and so sweet she got a home! She was there for two weeks then the lady got cold feet worried about future possible vet bills. We know there are no guarantees with any cat and Special Delivery's past broken pelvis is not an indicator of future expenses. She just needs to be safe and warm like any other cat. The adopter told us she has perfect house manners, was great with her 7 yr old granddaughter. After coming back Special has slowly declined. She has been in the shelter too long and is getting depressed. She actively seeks attention, and will reach her paw for a hand to pet her. She is fine with the other cats but has not become bosom buddies with any in particular. She likes people. She needs a home.

UPDATE: Special Delivery is now actively looking for attention & purrs easily. She still has some old tufts of fur sticking out as she's not fond of being brushed so we're slowly getting her coat in order. She had a broken pelvis & she doesn't jump well due to that. The advantage is that she's pretty much a floor model. She's not going to jump on your counter tops, top of your fridge, etc. She is very opinionated & will not hesitate to let you know what she likes. She is a sweetie. :)

Special Delivery is a very special girl. Some very kind people found her after she had apparently been hit by a car. They took her to the emergency vet & had her treated. We got her for after-care. She was very, very sore & grouchy. She is completely healed. She wants to be petted but when & where is completely up to her. She is looking for a special home who is willing to work with her on letting her settle in. She isn't fond of other cats in her face. She'd be happiest as the only cat or maybe 1 other who would leave her alone.
