Sparrow Bird's Story
Meet Sparrow -- From Shy Beginnings to a Happy-Go-Lucky Boy

Sparrow is a completely new cat compared to the frightened kitten who first came to us. He and his "Bird" litter were born to an unsocialized stray mama. Some of the kittens survived, some didn't, none of them were in great health when they arrived. We worked long and hard--first to get Sparrow strong and healthy, and then to help him learn that people can be gentle and kind.

In the beginning, Sparrow spent most of his time tucked in the back of his kennel, avoiding human touch. He had needed so much medication as a young kitten that he came to associate people with unpleasant experiences. But once he was healthy and fully vetted, everything changed. We let him out of his kennel to interact with other cats and volunteers, and Sparrow began to discover that life could be fun.

Today, Sparrow is a happy-go-lucky fellow. He's still not wild about being held, so we wouldn't call him a cuddler just yet--but he does love being petted. He enjoys playing, running, exploring, and interacting with other cats. And in a real home with consistent love, there's no telling just how much he'll continue to blossom.

He also has the most amazing fluffy tail--he proudly shows it off like a little peacock!

Sparrow is neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, and microchipped.
Adoption fee: $200

Come meet this handsome boy--you just might fall head over paws in love with him.
