Sparky arrived at the shelter on Jan 16, 2026, as a surrender due to changing circumstances at home. <br/><br/>He was rescued from a grass fire as a 3-week-old kitten by a good Samaritan. He had a rocky start to life. He is now doing well, although he does have some residual nerve pain from the burns and is being medicated with Gabapentin, this medication is currently being reviewed and he may be able to come off it completely in the near future.<br/><br/>Sparky is a quiet cat, adorable and friendly when he's patted. He's about 6 years old and has lived a quiet life with cats. He weighed in at 18 lbs. He has never lived with children or dogs before.
