Soup - Available In Foster's Story
Hi, I'm Soup

Yes, like the cozy kind... warm, comforting, and exactly what you didn't know you needed.

When I first arrived at my foster home, I'll admit-I was a little unsure about the whole situation. New place, new smells, new human... it was a lot for a sensitive guy like me. So I took a couple of days to observe things from my safety spot under my foster mom's bed. My foster mom didn't rush me, and once I realized I was safe... well, that's when the real me came out.

Now? I'm basically her tiny shadow. I follow her from room to room, chatting away about my day and making sure she never feels lonely. I've got the most striking green eyes (I've heard they're quite mesmerizing), and a sleek jet-black coat that makes me look very sophisticated-like a little panther, if I do say so myself.

I'm a big fan of affection... but I have a signature move. I'll roll right onto my back and politely request armpit rubs-yes, armpits! Head scratches and chin rubs are also top-tier. And every now and then, I like to give my foster mom tiny little kisses, just so she knows she's doing a good job.

Playtime? Oh, I LOVE playtime. I'm super athletic and can turn any room into my personal racetrack. Toss a little ball across the kitchen floor and watch me go. Sometimes I get the zoomies and zoom around the kitchen island. And those fishing pole toys? Absolute favorite. I could leap and pounce all day.

I'm also a total gentleman. I keep my litter box nice and tidy (always cover my tracks), and I use my scratch posts like a champ to keep my nails nice and filed down.

I'll be honest-I can still get a little startled by loud or sudden noises, and I might duck under the bed for a quick break. But don't worry, I'm brave at heart and always come back out in a few minutes once things settle down. During the day, while you're out, I'm happy to nap in my cozy under-bed hideaway.

Oh-and I recently had a visit from an 11-year-old human, and I was on my very best behavior. I handled it like a true gentleman-curious, gentle, and happy to share my space (and maybe a few head scratches). I think I could do well with respectful, kind, older kiddos who understand I sometimes like a little quiet time, too.

All I really need is someone patient and kind, who will give me a little time to settle in... because once I do, I promise I'll fill your home with love, playfulness, and lots of sweet little conversations.

Love,
Soup
