Soraya's Story
Meet Soraya!

Soraya is a stunning tuxedo cat that came into our rescue with a colony of about 20 cats along with her siblings (now adopted) and her mom Silver.

Soraya is a gentle, observant soul. She’s shy and a little aloof at first, preferring to watch the world from a safe perch—often tucked into her cat tree where she can keep an eye on everything going on. She’s generally low-energy and very calm, but don’t be fooled: when wand toys come out, Soraya watches with intense interest and will occasionally join in on the fun.

She’s still building confidence and tends to get easily spooked by too much activity, so she does best in a quiet, low-key environment. She has started coming out eagerly at mealtimes (especially for wet food!) but will retreat again if things get too busy. Soraya doesn’t have experience with kids or dogs, and a calm home—or possibly a gentle feline friend—would suit her best. With the right companion and some patience, she may continue to blossom into a more engaged little cat.

Soraya isn’t a big fan of being picked up, but once she’s in your arms, she tolerates it well. She has no experience with grooming yet, and while she can be timid, she has never bitten or scratched out of fear. Overall, Soraya is a sweet, quiet, and peaceful kitten who would thrive with someone willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace.

Soraya is the kind of kitten who watches before she leaps. Soraya loves to play with her foster brother Pax.

Date of Birth: June 2025
Colour: Black & White
Personality Traits: Independent, Learning to trust, Shy at first
Energy Level: 2 - medium low
Good With Children: Untested
Good with other Cats: Yes
Good with Dogs: Unknown - not been exposed or around dogs
Good with other animals: Unknown
Favourite things: She loves to spend her time on the top of the cat tree
Medical Care Received:Spayed, first shots, deflead, dewormed and microchippped
Adoption fee 275$
Kittens must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young kitten.
