Sophie's Story

Sophie is a lovely year and a half old dilute tortoishell who is looking for a loving, forever home. She is in good health and has been spayed and vaccinated. Like all our cats, Sophie needs to be an indoor cat only. Sophie is a very affectionate, gentle and playful. She has come from an abusive environment and need a quiet home where she feels safe. As some of the abuse was suffered at the hands of young children, she needs a home with adults, older or adult children and no other pets. Our process begins by filling out an adoption form. Once returned, it is followed up with a telephone interview by one of our members, going over responses if more clarification is needed. The application is then turned over to the appropriate committee. The applicant is called back within a week or less, with the decision.
