Scarborough Bluffs Cat Relief
Our Mission
Scarborough Bluffs Cat Relief's mission is to care for, and where possible, re-home abandoned, stray, sick or injured cats. We are also committed to educating new owners and the general public at adoption events about animal care issues. Some of the subjects covered would include the importance of spaying/neutering, keeping cats safe indoors, the negative impact of de-clawing, providing the best available nutrition and consulting a veterinarian if their pet becomes ill.
Adoption Policy
Our process begins by filling out an adoption form. Once returned, it is followed up with a telephone interview by one of our members, going over responses if more clarification is needed. The application is then turned over to the appropriate committee. The applicant is called back within a week or less, with the decision.
