Sophie's Story

This girl is large and in charge! She found herself back at CHA as her prior owner was no longer able to care for her. To say that Sophie is the whole package is an understatement. She has it all- personality, looks, and a joie de vivre (French for "enjoyment for life"). Sophie is FIV+ which means she has a virus that causes her to be immunocompromised. The good news is that FIV+ cats can lead normal, healthy lives. Sophie did not get along with another cat in her prior home, so that might mean she wants to be the only queen of the castle. Adoption fees are designed to help offset a portion of the cost of food, shelter, and medical care for each rescued animal.
