Our Mission

CHA Animal Shelter is a volunteer, nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to finding homes for homeless cats and dogs with responsible individuals. We rely on our volunteers for their talent and generosity of their time to accomplish this goal. In-shelter work We are currently looking for volunteers who can: Care for and socialize with the animals Volunteer Job Description - Cat Care Taker Volunteer Job Description - Dog Care Taker Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the shelter Assist potential adopters with meeting the adoptable animals Fundraising Plan and participate in fundraising functions Contact businesses for donations of items or services Spread the word to the public about our fundraising events! Adoption Policy

Adoption fees are designed to help offset a portion of the cost of food, shelter, and medical care for each rescued animal. Our adoption fees are currently: Adoption applications can be filled out ahead of time and brought with you by visiting http://www.chaanimalshelter.org/adoption/. Adoption Fees: Kittens (8 weeks to 4 months): $85.00 Cats (5 months and up): $45.00 Puppies (8 weeks to 4 months): $300.00 Dogs (5 months and up): $175.00 All adoption fees include microchip, spay/neuter, and age and time appropriate vaccinations.
