Sophie's Story

Sophie is a very sweet and loving girl who wants to sit in your lap and get a lot of attention. She is 9 years old, spayed, just had bloodwork, with with no issues, and her vaccinations have been updated. Sophie likes to be brushed and is a good eater. She does well with other cats and is getting use to being around several dogs. If you are looking for a lapcat, please go to Coffeehumane.org/services and fill out a Cat Adoption Application. Coffee County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

We request the adopters other pets be spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Our dogs are adopted out as indoor dogs only, they are a part of the family, not yard ornaments please. Cats also are adopted out as indoor only, for their safety. We ask adopters to pledge no declawing of cats.

Our Mission

Our mission is to prevent animal abuse and suffering through a community outreach program for spay/neuter, vet help in case of illness or injury, and a foster/adoption program for pets in need of homes.
