Our friend Sophie is about 1 year old and came to us from an overcrowded home. She has the sweetest face and a tiny cheek freckle; she is an adorable little girl.<br/><br/>Sophie is a very playful kitty and spends her time pouncing around in cardboard boxes and pawing at the ice cubes in her water bowl. When she is interested in a snack, you can count on her to choose Churu or Temptations every time. She enjoys being hand-fed and immediately perks up at the shake of a treat container.<br/><br/>Sophie looks to other cats as snuggle buddies and finds comfort in the presence of another feline. She is very fond of other kitties and cat-friendly dogs, and would do best with an experienced owner who can give her all the time she needs to open up.<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes spay/neuter if five months or older, age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention.
