Sophie's Story

Sophie came to us as a pregnant stray that had been dumped to an area with other strays. Her kittens are now 2 months old and Sophie will be looking for her forever home. She was and still is very protective of her 4 kittens. She will take awhile to warm up to a new home. Once she settles in she will make a wonderful companion. She loves to give head butts and get pets.

Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Completing an application and adoption contract is required and the potential adopter needs to be approved before any cat or kitten can leave the foster home. All of our cats and kittens are combo tested, current on vaccines and spayed or neutered before they are adopted out.  The cost for an adult over 1 year is $150.00. The cost to adopt a cat that is over 6 months and up to a year old is $250.00 and the cost to adopt a kitten under 6 months is $275.00. Please note that our kittens remain in their foster home until the age of 12 weeks due to spay/neuter and rabies vaccination requirement.
