Sophie is a loving, affectionate adult cat who has known a safe, indoor life since she was rescued as a one-month-old kitten from a box at a gas station. She enjoys cuddling in laps, relaxing with her people, and occasionally bursting into playful energy-running, batting toys, and chasing them around the room. She is friendly and social, easy to handle, and enjoys being part of daily life. Sophie has excellent litter box habits and very good manners. She's a little overweight but still active and able to jump onto furniture and beds with ease. Ideal Home: A calm, loving indoor home where she can enjoy affection, playtime, and stability. Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions's Adoption Policy

If you see a cat or kitten you’d like to meet, please note their location in their adoption profile. Most of our adoptable cats and kittens are located at our Adoption Center at 2675 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas. Come on down Tuesdays-Sundays, noon-6:00pm, to meet and adopt available cats/kittens. All adoptions are conversation based, in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Our cats and kittens come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities so we encourage you to get to know them and see who is the best fit for your family. Once you find a cat you’re interested in adopting, our Adoptions Team will help you through the adoption process to make sure both you and your new furry friend are set up for success. All adoptions are same-day, and cats will go home with you upon completing the adoption process. Unfortunately, we cannot hold cats for future adoption or pick-up.
