Meet Sophia 🤍<br/><br/><br/><br/>Rescued by our Staten Island volunteers, Sophia came to us hungry but incredibly loving. We soon learned her story—she had been taken in by a kind-hearted family who wanted to help her have her kittens. But with six young children to care for, they simply didn’t have the resources to feed her, let alone get her the medical care she needed. They told us they had been praying for help… and we’re so grateful we were able to answer that call.<br/><br/><br/><br/>We brought Sophia and her babies to safety. Two of her kittens already have adopters waiting, and two will be heading to Journey Home—but now it’s Sophia’s turn.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She has done everything for her babies—nurturing them, protecting them, giving them the best possible start. Now she deserves a life where she is the one being cared for and cherished.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Sophia is incredibly sweet and gentle. She’s fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative.
