Soot is acclimated to cat friendly cats and cat friendly dogs - slow, gradual introductions are always needed when meeting new friends!<br/><br/>CHILDREN? He is fine with well-mannered children who know how to respect pets.<br/><br/>BIO: This handsome guy is young, playful, VERY sociable, brave and curious about the world, VERY vocal and sweet. <br/>We say he most likely has some Siamese in him, due to being so vocal. It's friendly, sociable chat, as if asking a question, definatley NOT irritating or bothersome or a pestering kind of chatter. He likes to ask how your day was, and he appreciates an answer. He might ask where a door leads to, or, "HEY! Can I look behind the couch for toys?"<br/>He holds well in your arms and will sometimes lay at your feet on a recliner or couch, if you have one. He absolutlly LOVES a back scratch and will arch his back HIGH up to get more scritches. His favorite places are windowsills to watch cars, people, squirrels and birds.<br/>He was allowed to roam outside by his former owner and came to us intact and with several minor injuries, scrapes and fleas, He has a permanent small scar on his nose. ADOPTION INFORMATION Thank you for considering adopting your new fur buddy from CLAWS. Below is an overview of our adoption information. We recommend reading our FAQs if you have other questions. All cats and kittens are physically located in central Arkansas. We offer transport of our cats to the Northeast states (except MA) via professional, licensed pet transport company for an additional $70-$140 transport fee, which the adopter pays directly to the transport company at time of pick-up. We are unable to adopt to MA residents, at this time, as MA requires a 72hr hold and additional fees. ? Adoptions in AR are just $100. and includes full vetting. ?Adoption out of state are $175. - ($75. is for a USDA certified Health Certificate required by law to cross State lines) and includes full vetting: Spay/neuter, rabies vaccs, full set of kitten shots, testing for FIV/Felv, de-worm, 30-day flea treatment, and microchip. ?To make the best possible match for you & the pet, please complete the adoption request questionnaire. After your questionnaire has been processed, we'll be in contact. We cannot proceed without this form.
