Soot's Story

Meet Soot, a gentle soul ready for a second chance.

Soot is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a quiet, loving spirit who is looking for a safe and patient home to call her own. Once a pet, Soot was sadly left behind and has spent time fending for herself outdoors, where she’s had a tough go of it. Despite everything she’s been through, her capacity for love has never faded.

Now back indoors, Soot is slowly remembering what it means to feel safe again. She may be shy at first and will need a calm, understanding person who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust. But once you earn her trust, Soot blossoms into an incredibly affectionate and devoted companion. She loves attention and will happily soak up all the gentle affection you have to give.

Soot is litter trained and appears to get along well with other cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-cat household with proper introductions. Her ideal home would be a quieter environment where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace.

Soot has been through a lot, but she’s ready to leave her past behind and start fresh with someone who will never give up on her. If you have a kind heart and a little patience, Soot will reward you with endless love.
