Sonny & Ivy's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Sonny and Ivy were rescued from a tough situation that wasn't giving them the life they so deserved. Luckily, they were brought to their foster home where they have been cared for and allowed to grow up safe, healthy, and into two wonderfully sweet kittens who are ready to bring joy to the right family.

Sonny is a handsome ginger tabby boy with a gentle, thoughtful soul. He is a little shy and still working on his bravery skills when it comes to people moving around him — but here's the thing about Sonny: he has his sister by his side, and that makes all the difference. He is making progress every day, and the sweet, confident boy emerging from that shell is absolutely worth the wait.

Ivy is Sonny's secret weapon — and his biggest champion. This brave, playful girl gives her brother the confidence he needs just by being near him, and she tackles life with an enthusiasm that is genuinely infectious. She plays hard and loves every minute of it, with a particular fondness for boxes and string toys. When she has finally worn herself out and is ready for a nap, Ivy reveals her other superpower — the most wonderful, contented purr you have ever heard. She is also something of a morning girl, seeking out her humans for attention and affection at the start of the day.

Together, Sonny and Ivy are a beautifully balanced pair — one brave, one working on it, both completely wonderful. They play together beautifully, look out for each other, and will bring genuine joy to whoever is lucky enough to bring them home.

Sonny and Ivy would do fine with a cat-friendly pup and would also do well with children who know how to be gentle with animals.

A brave girl and her brother who is getting there — together, Sonny and Ivy are ready for everything their forever home has to offer.

The adoption fee is $250 (total).

Sonny & Ivy were born around 7/1/26. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Pawsitivity's Adoption Policy
Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
