Songbird's Story

Songbird has a special need since they acquired FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). This virus weakens the immune system, making affected cats more vulnerable to infections. With careful monitoring, regular vet care, and a good diet, affected cats can live a normal, happy, healthy life. It is common for FeLV infected cats to have a normal life expectancy. This virus is contagious through biting or close contact with other cats like bowl sharing or grooming, Songbird cannot live with FeLV negative cats.
